Exciting Podcast Updates

Claude

Hi, I'm Claude and I'm Jess. We are corporate employees by day, entrepreneurs by night and work besties for life.

Getting to Know Each Other

Misunderstandings and Complaints

Jess

Join us as we explore how work besties lift each other up, laugh through the chaos and thrive together in every industry no-transcript think about like all those work besties that have like hidden snacks, yeah that. Think about like all those work busebs up like this, yeah maybe it's gonna have a sponsor.

Conflict and Personal Growth

Claude

The thing I complain most about Go back.

Jess

Um the thing I complain most about. I don't know maybe not having enough hours in the day? Yeah, that's a good one, Getting things out. You know, I'm always complaining that I'm like I did not get to go for the run or didn't get to do everything. What do you think? No, that's a good one. Is that actually what I complain about?

Claude

no, it makes sense. What about you? You don't really complain too much, I think maybe you complain about? Maybe about this video yes, yes, when people get straight with me yes, right me.

Jess

Then I get really annoyed. Or people do things harder or smarter. Yeah, I've been being f for the last couple of weeks, which is a good lesson. How many times I've had to say to people like you don't have to do 27 months to do really that important? Yeah, yeah, that's true, I do complain about that. I try not to complain about that. I try to showcase her. So if they don't, you do pay attention.

Claude

Then I get really frustrated good thing is that you're going to complain to me right, yeah, I don't really say not to the people that are frustrated or frustrating, because at the end, at some, some point, it's normal Everybody is going to be frustrated by someone. That's why it's important to have someone that you can trust. The trust, the camaraderie, the camaraderie that you know that it's not going anywhere. It can change, because it can change the day after anyways. Yeah.

Jess

Right. What is an experience that shaped who you are today that few people would know about?

Claude

So that's actually I know. I think I used to do some rhythmic gymnastics in competition and it was actually a lot of work, right, Because it was even from high school I mean middle school, high school, college every night on the weekend summer there was no vacation either five hours a day, and I think that shaped me the importance of working hard, but also teamwork, because we were the way.

Jess

The one I was doing is like when you're six on the same you know all six of you are dancing yeah, yeah together and throwing each other things. Oh, wow.

Claude

So even though sometimes you did not want to go, you were still to go because you didn't want to let go of your team. So I think that this shaped me, and I really do believe it shaped me hardworking and teamwork, I would assume so.

Jess

Do you still keep in contact with people's people? Oh yeah, really, oh yeah, really, oh yeah. Would you ever do like a?

Claude

you guys get back together and redo one of your routines, yeah, If you want to break me in half and I don't think even that I would be have a leotard, that would fit me anymore.

Jess

All right, I should find something. Sure, I think that would be an excellent tool thing for all of our viewers. Oh, that would be something.

Claude

That's for sure. What about?

Jess

you. That's a really hard one for me. I really want to kind of shape who I am that people know about. Like I have to think about that. I'll come back to that. Maybe I can see a way. There are many people who have shaped me, so if anyone is listening, that has I feel bad, not saying that. I just can't think of something in particular that stood out. I can't think of anything. I can't think about it. All right, what have you got? I'll show you this one.

Claude

That's a good one. Something I would like to change about the way I deal with conflict.

Jess

Ooh, that is a really good one. I feel this is one that, over time, I've gotten better at, but I'm still having to take pause. Pause is the immediate response, like when a conflict comes up, instead of taking stock in all of the different elements that could be relating to what's going on. Get a little bit of that steam anger, that inside out anger guy. I go right for that, and I always have to like and take stuff back. I feel like I'm getting better, but that is definitely one that I would love to continue to work on. What about you? Same.

Impactful Experiences

Claude

I have to learn to just step back Count until I reach point 100. At least five, maybe at least five, Because I get very fast, so I just have to learn and also sometimes I have to learn and also sometimes I have to learn. Lately I've been thinking a lot about that. You have to learn what is happening in someone's life. You don't know what is happening in someone's life. You know that sometimes you can misjudge someone because they don't know what they're getting into.

Jess

Yeah, so I'm trying, but what else is going on behind the scenes?

Claude

There's something that happened lately in the news that really made me think of that.

Jess

That's a really good point. It isn't always just a lot. There's multiple people, at least a lot more so you have to be an understanding of where everyone else is Exactly, which I do believe conflict is a thing, don't shy away from it.

Claude

No, exactly, it's just how to be respectful, exactly Because nobody can always have the same thought, and you and I. Sometimes we don't agree, and we found a compromise see we can do it, anyone.

Jess

Alright, I'm going to ask you a fun one, a story people tell about me that isn't true, but I don't correct them Fun.

Breaking Rules and Personal Habits

Unrecognized Influences

Pride in Achievements

Claude

I don't correct them. You say no, I'm not French. You're listening to me. No, I'm not french. You're listening to me, I'm not french. Um about you, I guess, in that case, I'll let them think about it. Thank you no-transcript yours or yours? No, not mine. My son use of money. Yeah, I still spend too much. Well, otherwise I don't. I don't know what. I'm spend too much well, otherwise I don't.

Claude

I don't know what. I spend too much maybe ordering out because I don't want to. I'm not sure you do that, I do that's my love language.

Jess

Well, you know what mine is. Yes, definitely Clothes. Clothes and makeup, and shoes, and now shoes.

Claude

I love your hats. I love your hats Especially when they go against my eyes.

Jess

Hats are big again. Yeah, hats have a lot of yellow. Winter is coming, yeah.

Claude

I have a lot of them. Winter is coming, winter.

Jess

Alright, my last question. This is a nice positive one to end on I am feeling proud of. I thought you would end with the fact that we finally got the rest of our socials. I've been running.

Claude

We finally did. We are rocking it on YouTube. We got it all. We got it all there. So, yes, I'm very proud, and I'm very proud, actually, that we started this project, where you know from what we learned from each other and the closeness that we've come like, really trying to show to everybody how important it is, um, and and actually thanks to you, let's just you know both of us um Both of us. So, yeah, I think I am proud of us.

Jess

I do. I'm very proud of us. Yes, and think of the community we're building. We've created a collaboration of so many individuals that we never would have gotten to meet Exactly If we hadn't started this. And some of them, I'm like I now interact with them on socials. I interact with them daily to the point where I'm like I don't know what I would have done without them.

Claude

They've been so fantastic and wonderful. And what is also is here when we speak with those work besties and they had to reflect what the work bestie meant for them. Yeah, and they realized by really having to reflect that for the podcast, they realized even more how important they were for them in their life and what they represent. So that was like for me. I think a couple of people told us that, and that for me was really good.

Upcoming Collaborations and Announcements

Jess

Yeah, yeah, a lot of parts, in fairness to a lot of times we contact at the very end, at the center, or a salutation. So you're right, a lot of individuals have gotten into that For sure. So one last little thing we should announce we happen to be wearing some pretty impressive t-shirts Behind the scenes t-shirts. It's a little bit of a giveaway of an upcoming guest that we're super excited to have partnered and become friends with. Additionally, it's almost the one year anniversary of what started our joint.

Jess

One of us started One of ours. I think this was the one that fully solidified us wearing matching outfits so for the ones that are not on YouTube to actually watch it is actually a t-shirt that is being designed by one of our future guests and it's about two twins holding each other's hand.

Claude

from the shining, I guess. And it's about two twins holding each other's hand, you know, like from the shining, yeah.

Jess

Which happens to be a Halloween costume.

Claude

We did.

Jess

We did. We can relive our stories.

Claude

Where we were the only one in the costume at work.

Jess

We weren't the only ones. There were some dressed up. We were one of few, let's say we were very few. We were ill-informed that people wouldn't be wearing them throughout the day. Yeah, that's true, but yes, these shirts are kind of a throwback to that, as well as kind of an exciting opportunity for us in the future and what we have coming forward. So, yeah, to that exciting opportunity for us in the future and what we have coming forward. Yeah, thank you all for continuing to listen and support us.

Claude

And excited that now we're on video.

Jess

And for all of you who have been paying attention and following us throughout the whole thing. We appreciate you Now you can contact us on any form. Be careful what you wish for. Yes, be careful what you wish for. Yes, be careful what you wish for. And now you get to see us too.

Claude

Be careful what you wish for.

Jess

Do you want to ribbon dance on the staff? Yeah, remember, whether you're swapping snacks in the break room, rescuing each other from endless meetings or just sending that perfectly timed meme. Having a work bestie is like having your own personal hype squad.

Claude

So keep lifting each other up, laughing through the chaos and, of course, thriving. Until next time, stay positive, stay productive and don't forget to keep supporting each other. Work besties.
